What changed

Everything here is something that actually shipped. The launcher shows the short version of the same list.

  1. News

The website is rebuilt: ladders, account panel, and the game's own art.

The site now reads the server directly. There are ladders for level, honour and kill points, and signing in shows your characters, your cash and anything waiting to be delivered.

The look comes out of the client itself — the brocade behind every page is the one the game wears on its loading screens, and the palette was sampled from Lakia's own sky rather than picked.

  2. Patch

Damage over time now goes through armour, and 50 hostile debuffs can land.

Each damage-over-time line carries its own id saying whether it is physical or magical, and it is now read — 130 physical against 84 magical, and not one line carries both.

Separately, the flag that decides what a dispel can REMOVE was also deciding what could LAND. Those are different questions. 915 lines could land before; 1336 can now.

  3. Patch

The six Warrior howls run for an hour instead of ten minutes.

Lionheart, Berserk, Howl of Fortitude, Howl of Valor, Howl of Glory and Master of Blades: 600 seconds becomes 3600, across all sixteen ranks of each. Two of the descriptions said "for 10 minutes" and were rewritten rather than left lying.

  4. Patch

Dungeon loot is drawn among the party, so the Cleric stops going home empty.

The killing blow no longer decides who gets paid. Eligible means: in the party, alive, near the kill, thirty seconds since you were last in town, and one entry per account.

  5. Event

Three nations, one war. Pick a side when you sign up — it is for good.

Valdren, Eryndor and Mordrath. The nation is chosen once on the account and every character you roll fights for it. Tiamat is the only road between them, and a relic cannot ride back through it.
