How this is worked out

The points
One per level-up, and a character is created at level 1 holding none — so level 50 is 49 points, not 50. There is a bonus of 7 every ten levels in the server's code and it starts above 50, which means under this cap it never fires once.
The price
The skill point is the whole price. Every rank's cost is read off its own row, and the table's gold column — which asks 312,026 gold for one class's reachable tree — is not charged at all.
The level gate
Per rank, not per skill. Slash wants level 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 and on up. The server refuses a rank above your level outright, so this page refuses it too: a build you can make here is a build you can buy.
The ceiling
A skill's real rank count, which is not the sixteen rows it occupies — the rows past it repeat the last real rank. Half the families in the table stop below 16, and the level cap stops most of the rest.
Prerequisites
There are none. No skill in this game's table requires another one; the only thing standing between a character and a rank is its level.
What is missing
Each class's second tier — six more skills, all of them starting at level 51. This server's cap is 50, so not one of their ranks is reachable and none of them is drawn. They are counted, above each grid, rather than quietly dropped.
